James Bond might be one of the coolest and savviest characters to ever exist in the cultural zeitgeist, but who says he can’t also be a cuddly teddy bear?

Steiff, the company behind the invention of the teddy bear, has released a limited edition teddy bear inspired by 007 himself. The bear celebrates the 60th anniversary of the first Bond film, Dr. No, which debuted in 1962. This collectible bear embraces many elements of James Bond’s signature look, wearing a black evening jacket, white button-down shirt and black bow tie. The bear also features black mohair paws and an embroidered 60th anniversary logo on its foot.

There will only be 1,962 of these cubs available, and each will come with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity in a James Bond-branded box. To further highlight its limited series, each plush Bond bear will have a gold-plated Steiff button in one ear, bearing its individual number.

The Collectible Bears are slated for release in June, but US-based Bond fans can pre-order the bear now at stieffusa.com.
