Madden 23 release date
We finally have a confirmed Madden 23 release date of Friday, August 19, 2022.
This is what we expected, as the timing is almost identical to the release date used for Madden 22.
This date will allow football fans to build some hype for the upcoming NFL season and jump right into MUT and Franchise mode gameplay as things heat up.

Now that Madden 23 is official, details have been revealed about pre-order bonuses and exactly what players will get with each edition.
Players who pre-order the All Madden Edition will receive a plethora of additional content, but perhaps most importantly, they’ll gain early access.

John Madden is this year’s cover star
As the first major reveal of the upcoming Madden 23, EA has revealed the covers for the game which will feature John Madden as the star.
John Madden graces three different versions of the Madden 23 cover, with the far left pictured above being for the standard edition on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S.
The middle cover above will be for the Standard Edition on Xbox One, PS4, and PC, with the far right finale inspired by the original John Madden Football cover being for those who get the All Madden Edition.
Gameplay Trailer, FieldSENSE Introduces New Features
After getting a reveal trailer that mostly unveiled John Madden and hyped up the release of Madden 23 in general, it was the gameplay trailer that finally gave us some news on the new features.

We’ll continue to learn more about the various new features in Madden 23 in preparation for their launch, but key aspects of Franchise and Face of the Franchise have already been revealed.

While we can’t have any other final thoughts ahead of global launch, our run through Madden 23’s closed beta revealed quite a few.
FieldSENSE has definitely taken center stage, and new mechanics like Skill Based Passing and Hit Everything are a solid gameplay upgrade.
