Podcast with Petor Georgallou, new co-owner of Bespoked
Maybe you are thinking “one day, for a special birthday, maybe I will have a handmade bike”? Petor hopes that for the sake of the many small bike builders you decide to go for something sooner than that, or at least come to the Tailored hand made bicycle show in London, October 14-16 this year, and give them all a good old hug.
In this podcast, we discuss the challenges faced by frame builders, why Petor thinks a handmade bike will be the perfect bike for you, and what his plans are for Bespoked this year.
If you’re interested in being an exhibitor, head over to the Bespoked website to find out more – even if you’re a corporate bike company wanting to support handmade builders, there might be an opportunity for you.
Having built frames for many years under the Dear Susan brand, Petor retired from frame building last year and is now the new co-owner of Bespoked, along with business partner Josh. They have many plans to make Bespoked even bigger and more fun, and we have plans underway with them to bring you great stories from the world of frame building. Also, don’t miss a report in an upcoming issue of Singletrack World, shot by Petor a few years ago. It’s in our plan for the future because ‘Petor is moldy…’.
