Fitness Classes Offered – Clarkson University Athletics

Clarkson’s Strength and Conditioning Department will be offering the following classes for the fall semester.

Fall 2022 Fitness Classes/ Session 1

30″ Kettlebell is a unique strength-based workout that includes a generous warm-up and yoga-based cool-down, with 30 minutes of fun yet effective exercises for every fitness level, including progressive progressions; achieve maximum training in a short time.

Start date: September 6, duration of 4 weeks
Day/Time: D & D, 11:10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
Cost: $65, registration fee is $10 per course
Location: Back room of the Deneka Fitness Center
Instructor: Kelly Norman
Class capacity = 15


*Please bring your Clarkson ID, clean athletic shoes, water bottle, and towel.
* Classes will follow CDC guidelines regarding mask mandates.

LIIT: (Low Intensity Interval Training): The LIIT class is a slow tempo total body workout focusing on proper form and technique. LIIT infuses low-impact cardio sessions for both cardiac benefit and reduced risk of injury. This class is perfect for those with little exercise experience, those looking to get back into an exercise routine, and/or those recovering from an injury or joint problem.

Start date: September 6, duration of 4 weeks
Day/Time: D & Thu, 12:10 p.m.-12:50 p.m.
Cost: $65, registration fee is $10 per course
Location: Back room of the Deneka Fitness Center
