NEW DELHI: Volkswagen India has announced the implementation of a new brand design and logo across all of its dealerships as the launch of its new mid-size sport utility vehicle approaches. This is part of the automaker’s 2.0 strategy in which it plans to improve its customer base and service operations.
Volkswagen aims to make its dealerships more human, attractive and emotional. Following the phased approach, Volkswagen has already implemented 30 touchpoints in phase I and plans to complete the remaining touchpoints in phases in 2021, the company said in a statement.
As part of this strategy, the brand will also offer behavioral training to its staff, including frontline staff like salespeople and service advisers, to make them more customer-oriented, the company said.

To reinvent the fortunes of its operations in India, Volkswagen AG announced the India 2.0 strategy in which the company would launch new products under the Skoda and Volkswagen brands with an improved level of localization.
