Leeds United fans react to Conor Gallagher transfer link

Leeds United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to express their reaction to reports linking the club to a move by Conor Gallagher.

According to The Athletic, Leeds are keen on loaning out the Chelsea midfielder this summer.

The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at West Bromwich Albion, and Marcelo Bielsa believes he is perfect for the Whites.

Leeds are looking to strengthen their midfielder, with Bielsa keen to sign a replacement option for Kalvin Phillips. Gallagher was nominated for the role.

The report claims Leeds have been following the midfielder throughout the summer, and it looks like a well-planned move.

Crystal Palace is equally enthusiastic, but Leeds have made a first approach.

Leeds signed Lewis Bate from Chelsea yesterday, but the exciting teenager will be part of the Under-23 squad.

Many Leeds fans believe the club missed a trick here by not adding a clause to permanently buy Gallagher next summer.

Leeds treated Ben White when he joined Brighton & Hove Albion on loan. White excelled and helped the club win promotion to the Premier League.

However, the Yorkshire club failed to sign him for good despite several attempts last summer.

Some Leeds fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on Gallagher’s potential signing.

White is set to join Arsenal after agreeing to a fee of around £ 50million.

It has been claimed that Gallagher is not currently in Thomas Tuchel’s plans, but the Blues are unwilling to sell him permanently this summer.
