Dubai Expo PNG website launch, logo brand launch

Papua New Guinea has launched a visibility and branding platform for its participation in the Dubai World Expo to be held in October.
The website and logo were launched by Minister of Information and Communication Technology Timothy Masiu and Minister of Foreign Affairs Soroi Eoe at APEC Hausin Port Moresby yesterday.
PNG Ambassador to Belgium and the European Union and World Expo Commissioner General Joshua Kalinoe said it is privileged to connect with the rest of the PNG world and its people, culture, traditions and a wonderful history that PNG has with the rest of the world.
Amb Kalinoe said that Expo 2020 takes on a different format and a different twist from what it was in the past and that due to COVID the Expo will be held both physically and virtually, it is why the website plays an important role in telling the story of PNG to the rest of the world.
“Because the exhibition will take place both physically and virtually in October, it gives PNG the opportunity to be creative and I assure you that the team made up of all government agencies led by the Cabinet will tell a wonderful story. of PNG and Projects, Lifestyles products.
“This will be PNG’s exposure to the rest of the world,” Amb Kalinoe.
He said the team started planning for the Dubai Expo in 2018 and COVID-19 has slowed the planning, but the branded website, logo and material are available for launch thanks to the ICT department. which is also a central agency of the team.
Amb Kalinoe said the website will be the key platform that will be used to drive traffic to the PNG pavilion in Dubai as well as the owners of products and resources in PNG.
